Carmen has been teaching special populations for 25 years and has truly found her passion as a member of the BOCES Adult Education Team. She believes her greatest strength as a high school equivalency teacher stems from overcoming her own struggles in traditional schools. She finally earned her diploma at 24th Street in Niagara Falls, and she is a firm believer in the transformative power of education. Her academic background is in English Language Arts, but her experiences in adult education have given her a passion for math that is downright catchy. Carmen’s promise to her students: We offer a welcoming, individualized, highly successful program for adult learners of all types, and we are passionate about being of service to our students.
