Leslie Madrid has been a dedicated teacher to the adult learners of Orleans/Niagara BOCES for the last fifteen years. Influenced by her parents and grandparents, the importance of education and writing flow in her veins. She started down her road to education at Niagara Wheatfield schools, went on from there to NCCC, and finally to Buffalo State College. She fully believes in George Harrison’s words, “if you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there” but she thinks that the path called education will get you there faster, and with more ability to question yourself and other’s motivations–in other words, with more ability to think and reason.
