Deborah Wilson is based at World Life Institute in Waterport, teaching ESOL for intermediate and advanced level students. Her focus is in helping these students develop the fluency and confidence they need to interact successfully in the community. Many of these learners never had the chance to complete high school in their home countries, and Deborah is devoted to helping them acquire the reading and writing skills they need to fulfill their dreams of completing diplomas and degrees here in New York State. Deborah also specializes in offering programs that combine creative arts with English language education. At World Life institute she was the lead teacher for Voices from the Earth, where ESOL students learned pottery skills and English from 2004 to 2019.
